The 1971 $10,000 buy and hold
investment in the NASDAQ grew to $415,659, while the Indicant grew to
$1,192,030 by the end of 2013. This amounts to a 186.8% Indicant
performance advantage. This advantage can primarily be attributed to the
Indicant's avoiding the 2001-2002 and 2007 and 2008 stock market bears.
The 2001-2002 NASDAQ stock market bear approximated the same depth as the
1929-1932 stock market bear. The Indicant tends to lose some of its
advantage during stock market bulls due to periodic trade signals that are
quickly reversed. But every now and then, those trade signals save you a
lot of money, as the stock market bear never announces the depths of its
intentions. |
