Congressional support of newly elected presidents in the presidential post-election year has resulted in a stock market increase of only 3.4% since 1832.  On the other hand, the stock market increased 3,087.7% in the pre-election year when the newly elected congress attacks the policies of the incumbent president. Political chaos and partisan  behavior are highly desired by the stock market bull.
